As a Junior Marketing Associate, you will be a part of the fascinating and dynamic world of L’Oréal USA! The 12-month Junior Marketing Associate internship program at L’Oréal USA allows creative visionaries and strategic thinkers to get marketing experience in a fast-paced, hands-on setting. The JMA program is a paid internship opportunity that needs an applicant to have recently completed a degree and be able to work up to 40 hours per week.

In the Professional Products Division of L’Oreal USA, we are looking for a Junior Marketing Associate to join the L’Oreal Professionel US Marketing team. This job will work as part of the 360 US Marketing team, planning and executing activations to increase sales and brand recognition across all touchpoints.

What to Expect?

  • Across channels (social media, blog, print/digital publications), report on the latest goods, trends, and insights.
  • Continuously gather and analyze data on competitive new product introductions, advertising, and formulae.
  • Team and brand managers should be informed of the competitive findings.
  • Assist with product development and ideation.
  • Assist in the planning of team/brand meetings, including the presentation of bi-annual trends to the Global CEO.
  • Administrative assistance is provided.
  • They will be in charge of their own strategic projects and will report their results and business recommendations to the rest of the team.

Beyond the Junior Marketing Associate program?

Participants who successfully complete the program and demonstrate good demonstrated performance are given priority consideration and placement into the Pepiniere, Management Trainee Program.

Requirements

  • Recent BA graduate (within the last 12 months) in marketing or a digital-related field.
  • An internship in marketing or digital is advantageous.
  • Legally permitted to work in the United States full-time, permanently, and indefinitely without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Computer abilities, such as Word, Excel, and Power Point, are necessary.
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and work efficiently while remaining flexible in the face of unexpected changes in direction.
  • Flexibility to commute back and forth to the specific Junior Marketing Associate role’s location B20
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning, and follow-up skills, as well as excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Team player with a drive for process improvement, as well as a creative/innovative thinker.
  • In a fast-paced work atmosphere, excellent problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and a sense of urgency are required.
